Hari Kondabolu's Tumblr Kingdom

While discussing social problems in Hawaii, Bill O’Reilly had this bit of racism to share: “This is, you know, generally speaking. But you know what’s shocking? 35 percent of the Hawaiian population is Asian, and Asian people are not liberal, you know, by nature. They’re usually more industrious and hard-working.” Ah yes, THE MODEL MINORITY MYTH. I share my own thoughts on this topic in this video about something I overheard an older white lady say on a bus in Fort Greene, Brooklyn a couple of years ago.
